These terms govern your use of Duets Sessions at duetssessions.com, operated by Duets Learning, a United States business. By using the service or purchasing access, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts and responsible use
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share account access, impersonate another person, bypass access controls, interfere with the service or use it unlawfully. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use.
If you are not legally able to agree to these terms independently, a parent or guardian must authorize your use where required by law.
2. Purchases and course access
Individual courses and All-Access are one-time purchases, not monthly subscriptions. Current amounts are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, in USD, plus any applicable tax. All-Access includes current and future courses. Previous course fees are credited toward All-Access according to the amount shown at checkout.
Stripe processes payments. Access is granted after successful payment or an authorized fully discounted purchase. Promo codes are subject to their stated restrictions and availability. A failed or incomplete payment does not grant paid access. Keep your purchase confirmation for your records.
Purchasing a course grants access to its published content; lessons may be released in stages. All-Access does not promise that any particular new course will be created or released on a specific date.
3. Refund inquiries
For a refund or billing concern, contact us with the account email and purchase details. Do not send card numbers or security codes. Refund requests are reviewed in accordance with applicable law and any terms disclosed when you purchased; this page does not introduce a fixed refund window or exclude mandatory consumer rights.
A full refund removes access granted by that purchase, but does not remove access independently purchased or separately granted by an administrator. Where course fees have already been credited toward All-Access, contact us so the linked transactions can be reviewed.
4. Course materials and your work
Course text, videos, audio, designs and learning resources belong to Duets Learning or their respective rights holders. Your purchase permits personal learning use, including using available downloads for your own study. It does not transfer ownership or permit resale, redistribution, public posting of protected lessons or use of course materials to create a competing product without permission. Rights allowed by law remain unaffected.
You retain ownership of work you submit. You give us permission to store, display to authorized reviewers and process that work as necessary to provide the service, including AI processing when you request it. Submit only material you own or are authorized to use.
5. Assignments, quizzes and certificates
To earn a certificate, complete all required lessons, pass each required quiz with a score of at least 70%, and have any required assignments accepted by an instructor. Quizzes allow two attempts per learner. The final quiz remains locked until all other lessons and quizzes are complete. Certificates are issued only after every authored lesson is released and the completion requirements are met.
Certificates confirm completion of a Duets Sessions course. They are not professional licenses, academic degrees or guarantees of employment, accreditation or a particular result. Submit your own work and do not misrepresent your completion records.
6. AI feedback
Optional AI feedback is intended to support learning. It may contain mistakes, omissions or inappropriate suggestions. Review it critically and do not rely on it as professional advice. AI feedback does not guarantee a passing result or replace instructor review and acceptance. Avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information unnecessarily.
7. Discussions and shared content
Communicate respectfully. Do not post harassment, unlawful content, spam, private information about others or material that infringes someone else’s rights. Discussion contributions are visible to authorized participants. Work you choose to share and approved reviews may be displayed publicly.
We may remove inappropriate content or restrict an account for misuse, fraud or security reasons. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any action remains subject to applicable consumer rights.
8. Availability and third-party services
We aim to maintain a reliable service, but outages, maintenance or changes may occur. Download your completed reflections and certificates if you want a personal copy. Third-party links and services, including Google and Stripe, have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or operation.
We may update courses or service features. These terms do not promise uninterrupted availability or lifetime operation. Material changes to purchased access remain subject to applicable law.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
Learning materials are provided for educational purposes, not legal, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice. We do not guarantee a particular learning, career or business outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including applicable mandatory warranties or consumer protections.
10. Changes, disputes and contact
We may revise these terms, with the latest version identified by the date above. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. Changes do not override rights you already have under applicable law.
If a concern arises, please contact Duets Sessions first so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law governs your rights and any dispute; these terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to courts or consumer remedies.
